Services:
Repairs - Servicing - Inspection
Annual/100hr Inspections - a typical Annual on a Cessna 100 series aircraft takes a minimum of 40 hours to accomplish and that is assuming no defects are found requiring rectification.
Airworthiness Review Certificates - issuance of - strictly only in the context of a 100hr/Annual Inspection carried out by us on an aircraft within our licence coverage (B1.2 Group 3) - piston propeller aircraft with MTOW under 2730 kg under Part ML. Note we can only issue ARCs - we cannot do first or second extensions of them. With effect from 24/1/2025 we can now issue ARCs for G-Reg aircraft also (under similar conditions).
Borescope Inspections - usually engine borescope of cylinders, pistons, valves etc - we can supply a report and recommendations with photos of the cylinder interior.
Pitot-static system testing using a portable air data test kit/pitot static test kit (fully calibrated).
Spark plug cleaning and testing using the bomb tester (100 psi and 24kV).
Differential Compression tests - using ATS calibrated compression tester.
Nitrogen filling of tyres and nose oleo struts (N2 doesn't support combustion and maintains tyre pressure longer than air, for oleos it is dry - no corrosion)..
Magneto timing checks - i.e. external timing of the magneto to the engine.
Top Overhauls.
Valve lapping in situ. (E.g. a heat distressed exhaust valve is detected with the borescope. It may be a candidate for lapping without removing the cylinder. This can be done inexpensively and may prevent an in-flight engine failure (IFSD).
Engine removals and reinstallation. Crating for consignment to Engine Overhaul organisation (for repairs, overhaul etc).
Repairs to ignition harnesses (e.g. replacement of individual leads).
Jump starting flat batteries using portable Power Pack (only when we are at Kilrush Airfield)
